What is the Scratchbac Telegram Bot?
- The Scratchbac Telegram bot is proof of concept for the Scratchbac GeoSocial App (which is currently in development)
- The Scratchbac Telegram Bot helps you connect to others around you. Its purpose is to make it convenient for neighbours or anyone nearby to interact and share resources.
- The Bot allows users to post Offers and Requests to others with a 1km radius from a fixed postal code.
What is a Telegram Bot 🤖?
- Telegram is a mobile messaging platform much like WhatsApp but it supports the use of chatbots
- These chatbots, known as ‘Telegram Bots’, are simply accounts operated by software (not real people!) that can automatically respond to user inputs.
How does Scratchbac work 🤔?
- Scratchbac will prompt you to enter your postal code.
- You will then be able to post and receive Requests and Offers from other users 1000m around the postal code.

Who is behind Scratchbac 🤓?
- We are 5 students from the Singapore University of Technology and Design. Like many Singaporeans, we are greatly affected by COVID-19 in our everyday lives. We were inspired by our essential workers and our volunteers and decided to help in our own way by creating this resource sharing platform.
